Zenlayer wins the ‘AWS Rising Star Partner of the Year’ award for second consecutive year
Edge cloud service provider Zenlayer was recognized at the Partner Awards Gala for its contributions to driving innovation and fostering solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
More specifically, Zenlayer received the AWS Rising Star Partner of the Year at re:Invent 2023 for the second year in a row.
CEO Joe Zhu expresses gratitude for the recognition and reaffirms Zenlayer’s commitment to global application deployment improvement.
“We’re excited to continue working with AWS to enable low-latency interactive application deployment around the world,” Zhu adds.
Zenlayer has emerged as a partner in facilitating cloud deployments, particularly in rapidly developing markets. Further, the company’s hyperconnected fabric has enhanced application performance for AWS customers.
The company’s achievements include optimizing streaming and playback experiences for Asia’s AWS Interactive Video Service (IVS). AdTech platform AdTiming also saw clients benefiting from a 45% reduction in latency during peak usage periods.
Earlier this year, Zenlayer partnered with Mobily, the second-largest ISP in Saudi Arabia. The alliance aims to offer edge computing and connectivity services to Saudi Arabian businesses while expanding Zenlayer’s global network coverage.
Zenlayer and Mobily’s collaboration benefits industries like gaming, energy, healthcare and retail by offering low latency and improved user experiences, the companies say. Zenlayer will leverage Mobily’s data centers in Saudi Arabia. At the same time, Mobily will provide data center and network services to Zenlayer’s clients.
Saudi Arabia, the 19th largest gaming market worldwide, has seen a 41.1% year-on-year growth. With over 21 million gamers, the country notes it is dedicated to becoming a global gaming hub and invests $38 billion annually in this sector. Gaming companies are poised to benefit significantly from this partnership, the companies say.
