Zededa and OnLogic join forces to simplify secure industrial edge deployments
Zededa and OnLogic have partnered to create “OnLogic Powered by ZEDEDA,” integrating edge management software with industrial-grade hardware.
The solution aims to simplify and accelerate edge computing deployments, enhancing return on investment for enterprises.
It features an application-agnostic design, allowing customers to manage any edge application and adapt to changing requirements.
“Together, ZEDEDA and OnLogic are directly addressing a critical pain point in the industry. Securely deploying and updating hardware and software across a distributed edge network has traditionally been expensive and time-consuming,” said OnLogic’s Executive Chair and co-founder Roland Groeneveld.
The partnership addresses the need for robust edge computing solutions in industrial settings, focusing on security and data sovereignty.
Initial offerings will include four OnLogic systems tailored for various industrial edge computing needs.
The solution promises reduced deployment and maintenance costs, leveraging a zero-trust security model.
According to Gartner’s Market Guide for edge computing, the adoption of edge orchestration solutions is expected to grow significantly, with 20% of large enterprises deploying an edge management and orchestration solution by 2027, compared with fewer than 1% in 2023. This partnership facilitates that trend.
