Veea and Vapor IO partner to deliver scalable, low-latency AI at the edge

Veea and Vapor IO announced a strategic partnership to deliver turnkey AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) solutions, focusing on AI inferencing, federated learning, Agentic AI, and AIoT for enterprises and municipalities.
The Veea Edge Platform processes data at the device edge, ensuring low latency, data privacy, and sovereignty, while supporting AI-driven applications across industries like smart manufacturing, hospitals, and infrastructure. Vapor IO’s Zero Gap AI platform utilizes NVIDIA’s advanced AI hardware and private 5G networks to provide ultra-low latency AI inferencing and model training at distributed edge locations.
The partnership offers scalable, on-demand AI compute, eliminating the need for enterprises to invest in costly on-premises AI hardware.
Key features include federated learning for decentralized data privacy, real-time AI model hosting, and seamless workload orchestration across edge nodes.
“AI represents a new class of software. Just as computing evolved from the client-server architectures to more decentralized models, for most enterprise applications AI will inevitably migrate to the edge sooner rather than later—driven by the need for data sovereignty, real-time processing, lower latency, enhanced security, and greater autonomy,” stated Allen Salmasi, co-founder and CEO of Veea. “The future of AI is on the edge, where intelligence meets efficiency.”
The combined solution integrates edge storage, AI data management, and ultra-low latency connectivity, reducing AI deployment complexity and accelerating time-to-value.
“According to Gartner, 85% of all AI models/projects fail because of poor data quality or little to no relevant data,” explained Cole Crawford, Vapor IO’s founder and CEO. “We have largely addressed this industry pain point most cost-effectively with much reduced complexity and little risk of disappointment through our Edge-to-Edge partnership with Veea. The collaboration aims to simplify AI adoption at the edge, enabling enterprises to leverage AI incrementally or at full scale with enhanced security and efficiency.”
Veea and Vapor IO both emphasize the future of AI at the edge, providing a unified platform for distributed AI applications and addressing industry challenges like data quality and deployment costs.
Vapor IO along with NVIDIA also recently launched AI-Driven 5G edge deployment in Las Vegas.
