Vecow’s EAC-2000 series achieves Microsoft Azure Certification
Vecow, a provider of embedded computing systems, has joined the Azure Certified Device program, certifying that its hardware and software work with Azure IoT Services. This allows customers to have a quick setup for their IoT Solutions.
“Being part of the Azure Certified Device program validates our ability to jumpstart customer’s IoT projects with pre-test device and operating system combinations,” said Linda Pan, Product Manager, Embedded Systems & Platform Division at Vecow.” Decreasing the usual customization and work required for compatibility ensures Vecow helps customers get quickly started on their IoT solution.”
The Vecow EAC-2000 Series Nvidia Jetson Xavier NX Edge AI Computing System has achieved Microsoft’s Azure Certified Devices and Edge Managed certifications. According to the company, this means that the Vecow EAC-2000 Series has been tested for interoperability and functionality, ensuring that the EAC-2000 Series has used the Microsoft reference configuration. The Edge Managed certification also validates the IoT Edge runtime compatibility of the Vecow EAC-2000 Series for module management and deployment.
The series delivers outstanding performance in a small form factor, thanks to its Nvidia Jetson Xavier NX module, the company says. Due to its ability to operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C, the EAC-2000 Series can be deployed in industrial and AI vision situations. Some examples include Smart Factory, AIoT/Industry 4.0, auto optical inspection, public safety, traffic vision, and AMR/AGV applications.
Vecow was in the news earlier this year for unveiling its ECX-3000 Fanless Embedded System series and its COM Express product portfolio.
