SIG Asia leads DataMesh’s new funding for enterprise metaverse tech
DataMesh, a high-tech innovator building FactVerse, a Web 3.0 Enterprise Metaverse with support for XR and digital twin technology, closed a new fundraising round led by SIG Asia with participation from Singtel Innov8 and Global Brain.
The amount of funding was not announced. DataMesh has raised $19.3 to date, according to Crunchbase.
This new round of funding supports DataMesh’s continued expansion in the global market with its digital twin solution for enterprise customers, says the company. Hundreds of organizations have already purchased and deployed DataMesh solutions and SaaS services, particularly in the building, manufacturing, maintenance and facility operations industries, investors said..
“We continue to be optimistic about the DataMesh team’s comprehensive ability to help customers worldwide improve their digital infrastructure and achieve smart manufacturing,” said Nan Lv, SIG Asia Investment, LLLP. “We look forward to serving more business users and frontline workers in the future, benefiting global customers, and ultimately creating a true enterprise metaverse.”
“Our investments reflect our focus on finding and supporting startups that can help Singtel deliver the best possible value and experiences for businesses across industries and markets in Singapore and the region,” said Kum Tho Wan, the Managing Director, Asia Pacific Investments, Singtel Innov8. “DataMesh has worked closely with Singtel on the 5G@Sentosa project and won high praise for providing innovative solutions. We are excited to work with DataMesh to unlock further opportunities in the future,” he added.
With this new round of funding, DataMesh expects to continue to help organizations leverage CAD, IoT, BIM, knowledge and process data to develop a digital twin platform. In turn, the company can work towards democratizing digital twin technology to bridge the digital and real worlds. This also can empower frontline workers in the manufacturing, construction, and operations industries. For example, DataMesh’s digital twin products have featured in landmark projects such as New Saga Arena in Saga Prefecture, Japan.
In 2021, NTT Docomo granted the DX Award for the most outstanding 5G enabled digital transformation to DataMesh Director, which focuses on the “democratization of XR.” Along with Toda Construction, it supported the BIM + XR presentation of the New Saga Arena.
“In countries like Japan, China and Singapore, we have been excited about an accelerating trend and big potential of digital twin technology, which could upgrade industry infrastructure, almost in all sectors,” said Ken Kajii, the General Partner, and Jie He, Director, Global Brain. “DataMesh provides its cutting-edge, well-balanced, and ‘easy to operate’ digital twin solution for enterprise customers. Through its service, in Japan, DataMesh has gained strong traction in a lot of new customers that haven’t used digital twins before (e.g. call center), as well as deepened digital twin usage to operational level (e.g. construction).”
DataMesh recently released the latest version of DataMesh Director. According to the company, this program helps users create digital twin content more quickly and easily. Customers who purchased DataMesh SaaS services may upgrade their DataMesh Studio and DataMesh One client directly to 5.3 via supported platform app stores.

This new round of funding will allow DataMesh to further expand its reach in the global market for digital twin solutions. With the support of leading investors, the company is better positioned to continue helping organizations leverage BIM, CAD, IoT, knowledge and process data to create a comprehensive digital twin platform for enterprise customers.
