SECO debuts rugged Intel-powered module for edge AI and industrial IoT
Seco, an IoT and AI solution provider, has launched the SOM-SMARC-ASL module, featuring Intel Atom x7000RE Series Processors, aimed at industrial IoT and AI applications, with samples available for request ahead of full availability in Q4 2024.
The module is designed for rugged environments, operating in a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and supports advanced networking capabilities like Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) for real-time data transmission.
It offers multiple configurations with up to 8 cores, 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, and various connectivity options, making it suitable for applications such as medical surveillance and industrial automation.
The SOM-SMARC-ASL supports high-resolution multimedia processing and AI tasks, compatible with the OpenVINO toolkit for efficient inference in critical environments.
Seco provides comprehensive support for customers, including end-to-end solutions and compatibility with its Clea IoT software suite, enhancing the module’s applicability across diverse IoT sectors.
Seco also joined forces with Qualcomm to create edge computing solutions for the Industrial IoT (IIoT) sector.
