Seco and NXP unite to accelerate AI-driven edge innovation with integrated IoT platform

Seco, an IoT and AI solution provider and NXP have announced a partnership to integrate their technologies for a unified hardware and software solution.

Seco’s Clea software platform will be available to all NXP silicon users and integrated with NXP’s EdgeLock 2GO service.

The collaboration aims to optimize development for AI-powered devices in industrial and IoT applications. The agreement allows quick access to Clea’s IoT data and device management features for NXP customers.

“This partnership agreement with Seco will enlarge NXP’s value proposition to our customers by providing them access to Clea’s ready-to-use IoT platform and pre-trained AI algorithms, supporting multiple use cases,” says Luca Difalco, senior vice president, global sales, NXP Semiconductors. “Furthermore, Clea will offer secure device provisioning by leveraging NXP’s EdgeLock 2GO services. This will allow end customers to manage seamlessly the whole lifecycle of their products, from secure OTA to deployment of their own or third party services and applications, without the need to change hardware”,

The partnership enhances NXP’s value proposition by providing access to Clea’s IoT platform and pre-trained AI algorithms. Clea will enable secure device provisioning using NXP’s EdgeLock 2GO services for product lifecycle management.

The collaboration is expected to accelerate innovation and expedite product development and market entry for customers.

Seco recently debuted rugged Intel-powered module for edge AI and industrial IoT.
