Scale Computing and Veeam Partner to Bring Enterprise-Class Data Protection to Scale Computing Platform

Scale Computing, an edge computing solutions provider, and Veeam Software announced they will integrate Veeam‘s data resilience solutions with Scale Computing’s SC//Platform for edge and core infrastructure.
The collaboration will enhance backup, recovery, ransomware protection, and workload mobility, offering a cost-effective alternative to VMware.
Key benefits include immutable backups, high-performance VM protection, simplified data management, flexible storage and recovery options, and seamless workload mobility.
“The partnership between Scale Computing and Veeam delivers the best of both worlds: streamlined, autonomous IT infrastructure from Scale Computing and the industry’s most trusted data resilience platform from Veeam,” says Jeff Ready, CEO and co-founder of Scale Computing. “Our customers and partners have long asked for deeper integration with Veeam, and we’re proud to meet that need while strengthening cyber resiliency for both core and edge deployments.”
This aims to address the growing demand for integrated, scalable, and resilient IT solutions for distributed environments in retail, manufacturing, and remote operations. It also underscores a broader industry trend toward autonomous, cyber-resilient edge infrastructure capable of seamless workload mobility.
Live demonstrations of the SC//Platform with Veeam integration will be showcased at VeeamON 2025 in San Diego, CA. Support for SC//Platform in the Veeam Data Platform is expected to be available by Q4 2025.
