RF Code, Links Technology Solutions team up to offer real-time visibility into remote edge locations
RF Code, a company specializing in remote edge infrastructure management solutions, has partnered with Links Technology Solutions, an Illinois-based managed service provider.
RF Code says the collaboration will provide its customers with real-time visibility and the ability to monitor multiple IT edge locations. Further, Links Technology Solutions joins RF Code’s channel partner program to become an officially licensed reseller of RF Code’s Sentry, a SaaS platform to monitor real-time IT assets.
RF Code believes this collaboration will offer a competitive advantage to organizations that use edge computing for mission-critical applications in remote locations. RF Code’s monitoring solution, Sentry, provides clients with a unified platform for real-time monitoring of IT and environmental conditions. RF Code executives say the software will help organizations safeguard their business operations from any IT-related problems that may arise.
“Now, as both a user as well as a reseller of RF Code’s Sentry device, we truly see it as an industry game changer for edge environments thanks to its real-time visibility, affordability, and ability to monitor several IT locations at scale,” says Jim Burke, the chief operating officer of Links Technology Solutions, Inc.
According to Dale Quayle, the CEO of RF Code, managing distributed edge locations present several complex challenges, such as monitoring, managing data, maintaining security and operational visibility. Moreover, controlling physical access to equipment and identifying and addressing issues in unmanned distributed edge locations can be problematic.
RF Code says it addresses these challenges by creating Sentry.
RF Code says it addresses the mentioned issues with a product called Sentry. This SaaS platform provides real-time monitoring in remote IT locations, incorporating advanced intelligence and alerts.
Sentry has thermal monitoring features that can detect temperature changes. Its thermal sensors continuously monitor the temperature and notify users if there are any notable increases. Additionally, the company says the Sentry device has a backup battery, ensuring uninterrupted visibility even during power outages.
“Sentry is a godsend for any MSP dealing with servers and remote client sites that have climate-controlled environments. Nobody else out there can offer what RF Code does with Sentry, which not only provides our joint customers with peace of mind regarding remote IT sites, it also gives us a competitive advantage as a managed service provider,” Burke adds.
