Premio releases two new industrial touchscreen computers with Human Machine Interface in mind

Rugged edge/embedded computing and industry display technology provider Premio announced two new industrial touchscreen computers to its portfolio of industrial-grade touch panel displays.

These new models, the AIO Series All-In-One Industrial Touchscreen Computer and the HIO Series Open Frame Industrial Touchscreen Computer, provide enhanced Human Machine Interface (HMI) solutions with Intel’s 12th Generation Alder Lake-N processors.

Premio’s Product Marketing Director Dustin Seetoo explains, “By introducing both an all-in-one and open-frame industrial touchscreen computer to our extensive portfolio of standard off-the-shelf HMI solutions, our partners and OEM system builders can achieve a faster time to market with competitive pricing.”

The AIO Series is designed for a simple, integrated HMI solution ideal for industrial automation, smart retail, digital signage, and other applications. Powered by Premio’s CT-DAL01 Single Board Computer with the Intel 12th Generation Alder Lake-N processor, the AIO Series delivers a 28% performance boost over previous entry-level processors and enhanced power efficiency in a low Thermal Design Power (TDP) setup.

The AIO Series also supports advanced DDR5 memory, three independent displays, and customizable I/O connectivity, making it adaptable for various industrial applications. It features a rugged IP65 front panel display with 7H glass and an IP54 back panel, ensuring industrial-grade durability. It comes in three different display sizes and aspect ratios, to integrate seamlessly into industry 4.0 deployments.

The HIO Series features an open frame industrial design for OEM applications benefiting from flexibility and customization. Similar to the AIO Series it is also powered by the Intel 12th Generation Alder Lake-N processor and Premio’s CT-DAL01 Single Board Computer.

With its open frame design, the HIO Series allows OEM system builders to easily access and customize I/O connections, streamlining the integration of HMI touch screens into a variety of industrial equipment and enclosures. The HIO Series maintains a rugged IP65 front panel display with 7H glass and is available in the same display sizes as the AIO Series, offering similar support for DDR5 memory and triple independent display outputs.

Last month, Premio was officially inducted into NVIDIA Embedded Compute Competency under the NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN) Program.
