Panzura, Percepio and 1623 Farnam welcome new CEOs
Hybrid multi-cloud data management solutions provider Panzura LLC has announced that Dan Waldschmidt has been named chief executive officer.
Waldschmidt joined Panzura in 2020 as a refounder, where he focused on revenue generation and moving Panzura into the enterprise market.
As chief revenue officer, Waldschmidt led a 150 percent year-over-year increase in the customer base and doubled the customer lifetime value. Waldschmidt also guided a 288 percent growth over three years, 125 percent net retention, and maintained 98 percent brand loyalty. In addition, Waldschmidt negotiated agreements with 84 partners, and successfully developed and deployed an international revenue expansion plan.

Percepio to scale up under new CEO
Percepio AB, an observability solutions provider for embedded edge systems, has appointed Andreas Lifvendahl as chief executive officer to accelerate innovation and guide the company’s next stage of growth. As systems and applications get more complex, Percepio looks to scale up its leadership around embedded software observability under its new CEO.
Lifvendahl has over 25 years leading and advising technology startups and growth companies. He joins Percepio from IMINT Image Intelligence AB (Imint), where as CEO since 2012 he grew the early startup into a publicly traded firm powering visual intelligence for over one billion Android smartphones globally. His previous experience includes senior roles at companies like IAR Systems and serving on boards focused on emerging tech advancement.

1623 Farnam names Bill Severn CEO and president
1623 Farnam, a network-neutral edge interconnection and data center services provider, has hired Bill Severn to the position of CEO and president of the organization.
According to the company, Severn has played a role in 1623 Farnam’s technological acceleration and ongoing growth since 2019 as operating partner for its parent company BERKS Group. Most recently, Severn spearheaded a 3MW power deployment, expanding capacity at 1623 Farnam to support advanced hyperscale peering and colocation demands today and in the future.

Justin Hotard to lead Intel data center and AI group
Intel Corporation has announced the appointment of Justin Hotard as executive vice president and general manager of its data center and AI group (DCAI). He joins Intel with more than 20 years of experience driving transformation and growth in computing and data center businesses, according to the company.
Hotard will become a member of Intel’s executive leadership team and report directly to CEO Pat Gelsinger. He will be responsible for Intel’s suite of data center products spanning enterprise and cloud, including its Intel Xeon processor family, graphics processing units (GPUs) and accelerators. He will also play an integral role in driving the company’s mission to bring AI everywhere.
