OrionVM, Blaize launch AI-as-a-Service to help enterprises adopt and deploy edge AI
OrionVM recently teamed up with Blaize to launch an AI-as-a-Service offering, helping enterprises adopt and deploy AI solutions. As part of this AI solution, OrionVM’s cloud platform will power Blaize’s AI applications.
The companies said their AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) brings edge computing and artificial intelligence to the cloud computing space, reducing IT complexity and the cost of implementing machine learning.
The Blaize AI-as-a-Service solutions include the following features:
- Blaize’s GSP chips for edge AI and sensor fusion applications can now be virtualized on the OrionVM Cloud Platform.
- Virtualized GSPs make it easier to create dedicated AI environments for clients. For example, they integrate into video surveillance tech on the edge and provide a constantly updated event analysis.
- Blaize AI Studio’s latest version is available on the OrionVM cloud platform. This allows AI applications to deploy without the need to configure and purchase complex hardware environments.
“Before the availability of next-gen cloud solutions like ours, AI was cost-prohibitive owing to steep infrastructure spend and a shortage of qualified programmers,” said Daniel Pfeiffer, COO and VP of partnerships at OrionVM. “They can now take advantage of data insights through AIaaS without expensive up-front investments. This allows them to harness the power of machine learning at significantly lower costs.”
According to IDC, worldwide spending on artificial intelligence solutions will increase from $85.3 billion in 2021 to more than $204 billion by 2025. The partnership recognized a need for improved response times and less bandwidth and less constrained data analysis. With Blaize AIaaS, various industries can process large machine learning datasets and leverage the power of AI for efficient, cost-effective solutions.
“Our innovative approach has helped companies across various industries because we address their need for products purpose-built for the requirements of edge AI,” said Dinakar Munagala, co-founder and CEO at Blaize. “Our solutions allow customers flexibility by programming AI solutions to fit their specific requirements.”
Blaize recently developed a partnership with AEWIN to integrate its multi-access edge computing platform with the Blaize PCIe edge AI accelerator. According to the companies, the Blaize AI software suite helps enterprise customers create applications faster, with more reliability and better power management.
