Northern Data and Gcore join forces to build global AI inferencing backbone

Northern Data Group, a leading provider of AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) solutions and Gcore announced a strategic partnership to create a full-stack AI platform, combining hardware and software for AI deployment and inferencing.
The partnership introduces the Intelligence Delivery Network (IDN), a global low-latency network with 180 points of presence and over 200 Tbps capacity.
The collaboration targets the growing AI inferencing market, projected to reach USD 169 billion by 2032. Gcore’s Everywhere Inference platform offers GPU-as-a-service (GPUaaS), enabling enterprise and AI model developer opportunities.
“Partnering with Northern Data will provide Gcore and our enterprise customers access to one of the largest liquid-cooled GPU clusters and significant data center capacity worldwide. This collaboration supports Gcore’s mission to connect the world to AI anywhere and anytime with low latency, leveraging cutting-edge infrastructure to power the next generation of AI-driven applications,” commented Andre Reitenbach, CEO, Gcore.
Northern Data also secured an option to acquire a majority stake in Gcore, subject to due diligence.
The combined solution provides real-time, on-demand AI infrastructure with enterprise-grade security and data sovereignty. Northern Data and Gcore aim to accelerate global AI adoption through their integrated technologies.
Gcore also recenlty joind forces with Mirantis to simplify and accelerate AI deployment and infrastructure management. Gcore has generated over USD 80 million in revenue in 2024, highlighting its strong market presence.
