nLighten and Megaport unite to boost edge data center connectivity in Europe
nLighten, a European edge data center operator and Megaport have formed a strategic partnership to integrate Megaport Points of Presence (PoPs) at nLighten’s edge data centers in Milton Keynes, UK, and Sophia Antipolis, France, enabling seamless and cost-efficient cloud connectivity for customers.
This collaboration enhances nLighten’s services by supporting hybrid IT environments, allowing customers to easily migrate workloads to and from the cloud while leveraging Megaport’s scalable infrastructure.
“We are delighted to have Megaport as a partner,” says Joachim van Collenburg, VP Enabling Services of nLighten. “This initiative underscores nLighten’s commitment to supporting our customers’ IT needs every step of the way, in this case by leveraging Megaport’s scalable and cost-effective infrastructure to simplify cloud connectivity at two of our key edge data center locations. We are continuously looking to enhance our digital services portfolio across the expanding nLighten footprint of 34 edge data centers, to make the use of transformative cloud technologies and Tech applications like Artificial Intelligence (AI) even more accessible to our customers.”
The initiative reflects both companies’ commitment to expanding digital services and cloud accessibility, with pre-orders now available for the integrated data center sites.
Last year nLighten rebranded Euclyde to strengthen its French edge data center presence.
