New Hires roundup: Adapdix, Proximity and Lunavi add execs
Adapdix announced that Chet Hullum has joined the company as Vice President of Product Strategy and Marketing.
Hullum brings more than 25 years of experience in product management, marketing and overall business leadership from companies such as GE, Intel and most recently, Smart Embedded Computing. Hullum has experience building IIOT ecosystem solutions and was previously the GM for Intel’s IoT Industrial segment. He has an extensive background in developing, selling and marketing products supporting Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.
Hullum earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University and an MBA from Georgia State University. He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a GE Executive program graduate.
Proximity appoints business development director
Proximity Data Centres Limited has appointed Dominic Thomas as Business Development Director.
With over 15 years in IT and telecoms, Thomas has significant knowledge and experience of selling cloud and managed services solutions to enterprise and service provider organisations. He joins Proximity’s rapidly expanding sales team from InterCloud where he was UK Sales Manager. Previous roles have included enterprise account director at Exponential-e and 10 years with Singtel where he had responsibility for generating new business and high-end solution sales from European clients requiring international WAN, data networking, colocation and managed services.
Lunavi names new CEO
Lunavi recently announced the appointment of Sam E. Galeotos as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Galeotos will assume day-to-day leadership of the company in addition to his role as Board Chairman. Founder and former CEO Shawn Mills will remain on the Lunavi executive team in his role as President, with a focus on strategic client acquisition and retention.
In recent years, Lunavi has added new service capabilities and grown its offerings around the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, digital innovation, and application-centric computing in particular. With more frequent enterprise-scale engagements, the need for new strategic leadership emerged.
Galeotos brings a wealth of experience guiding successful enterprises, serving in numerous executive positions throughout his career including President and CEO of Galileo International; CEO of strategic distribution and travel services at Cendant Corp; President, CEO and COO of Cheap Tickets, Inc.; Co-CEO of Worldspan Travel Information Systems; and leadership positions at Delta Air Lines and DatasLink Business Systems, a subsidiary of Delta.
