Litmus advances AI at the edge with real-time DataOps and GPU acceleration

Litmus, an industrial IoT edge platform, announced advanced AI capabilities for its Litmus Edge platform at the ProveIT conference this week, enhancing Industrial DataOps for enterprises.
The platform now supports real-time AI-powered data analysis, integrating with major cloud services (OpenAI, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock) and on-premises systems via OpenRouter.
A structured API interface allows AI agents to utilize historical data, context, and asset models for precise data interpretation. Optimized Nvidia GPU support enables local runtime for computer vision and other GPU-intensive AI applications at the edge.
“Our team continues to develop innovative industrial data ops features that accelerate AI use cases today and pave the way for industrial companies to leverage and benefit from our AI-enablement technology in the future,” says Vatsal Shah, CEO and Founder of Litmus. “The time for industrial AI is now. With the right data foundation, turning AI investments into a strategic differentiator is now possible.”
Beta support for locally hosted small language models (e.g., Microsoft Phi, Llama) ensures data security in air-gapped environments, meeting strict regulatory requirements.
The new features aim to improve operational efficiency, enhance data security, and scale AI implementations across industrial operations. Live demonstrations of the enhanced platform will be showcased at ProveIT and Hannover Messe 2025.
