Lanner unveils rugged edge AI systems for extreme industrial environments

Lanner Electronics, a rugged industrial computer manufacturer has debuted its industrial-grade edge AI computers, EAI-I233 and EAI-I251, at NVIDIA GTC 2025, powered by the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin platform. 

The EAI-I233 is a compact AI inference system with 64GB LPDDR5 memory, 2048 CUDA cores, and versatile connectivity options, ideal for space-constrained environments like retail and airports. 

The EAI-I251 is a ruggedized AI platform designed for extreme conditions (-40°C to 70°C), featuring extensive I/O options and optimized for autonomous systems, industrial inspection, and physical security. 

Both platforms support NVIDIA JetPack SDK 6.2, enabling developers to leverage Jetson Linux, CUDA-X libraries, and NVIDIA Metropolis for vision AI workloads. 

“With the NVIDIA Jetson platform, our latest edge AI computers redefine industrial AI performance, reliability, and connectivity,” says Spencer Chou, Senior Director of the Edge AI Division at Lanner Electronics. “Introducing these innovations at NVIDIA GTC 2025 underscores our commitment to driving advancements in AI and edge computing for mission-critical applications.”

These systems are designed for real-time AI inferencing in industries such as retail, manufacturing, transportation, and smart cities.
