IaaS provider EdgeUno adds COO ; DuploCloud adds VP of engineering while Gorilla bulks up edge AI team
EdgeUno, a provider of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) in Latin America and emerging markets, has appointed industry veteran, Andy Bax, as its Chief Operating Officer effective March 7, 2022. This strategic addition to the company’s executive leadership team underscores EdgeUno’s commitment to providing world class innovation and leading engineered network solutions while focusing on customer service and workforce development across the markets it serves.
Bax brings 30 years of experience across senior leadership positions at NYNEX, FLAG, Global Crossing and Seaborn Networks to the team at EdgeUno. Andy joins EdgeUno from Seaborn Networks, where he co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer for over ten years. During his tenure at Seaborn Networks, Bax not only headed engineering, operations, and network development, he also led the company’s growth initiatives beyond their Seabras-1 subsea cable system including the development and implementation of Seaborn’s IP business in Latin America. As a proven leader and innovator with extensive cross-functional experience, Andy brings a wealth of experience to EdgeUno’s rapidly growing business.
New VP of Engineering at DuploCloud
DuploCloud, an industry pioneer for no-code/low-code infrastructure automation and compliance, announced that Zafar Abbas has joined the DuploCloud team as its Vice President of Engineering. An industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, Zafar will be responsible for leading the global engineering and operations team at DuploCloud. Zafar’s hire will round out the DuploCloud leadership team alongside Venkat Thiruvengadam, Founder & CEO; Ian Hutchinson, Vice President of Sales; and Tony Barbagallo, Vice President of Marketing.

Gorilla names Chief Innovation Officer
Taiwan-headquartered Gorilla Technology Group has appointed Dr. Rajesh Natarajan as its Chief Innovation Officer. Having spent over 27 years in the technology space helping start-ups, medium-to-large enterprises and global technology giants, including Microsoft and IBM, Dr. Natarajan’s expertise is in analysing competitive landscapes, framing and prioritizing customer challenges, driving product strategies, and leading global teams to build end-to-end solutions that maximize growth and profitability.
