Helin secures €3 million in seed funding to evolve maritime and energy sectors at the edge
Edge intelligence platform Helin has announced the closure of a €3 million (roughly $3.3 million) seed funding round led by FORWARD.one.
The company says that the capital will be allocated towards expanding Helin’s commercial and development teams, and further enhancing its industrial edge intelligence SaaS platform.
Helin is designed to transform traditional industrial assets into intelligent, data-driven entities, thereby improving operational efficiency, enhancing safety, and fostering environmental sustainability, the company notes.

Helin’s edge computing solution integrates data processing, applications, and security into a single platform. The company notes that it boosts the maritime and energy sectors to optimize management and operation of industrial devices, by using real-time data extraction, advanced computer vision, and AI technologies.

According to the company, Helin has demonstrated a 78% increase in its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in the past quarter. The company has also forged strategic partnerships with Microsoft, Aveva, and NVIDIA.
Helin is an edge-to-cloud analytics platform tailored to the marine and energy sectors, with an aim of seamlessly managing edge devices. The company boasts it combines local artificial intelligence with a centrally managed data infrastructure for more accuracy, reduced network congestion and lower costs.
