Heather Blanchard appointed ED at Seamster, Kevin Shatzkamer joins Google Cloud
Heather Blanchard has been appointed the first Executive Director of Seamster, an initiative launched by MobiledgeX to help find and promote enterprise use case and edge technology adoption.
Blanchard is expected to grow the edge ecosystem community and ensure the diversity of viewpoints from across the edge value chain are represented to accelerate knowledge sharing and enterprise use case exploration across the edge computing industry.
Blanchard brings close to 25 years of coalition building focused on IT, technology and telecommunications to her new role at Seamster. Blanchard joins Seamster from GSMA where she worked to convene the telecommunications ecosystem. Prior to GSMA, she worked to curate the CTIA Innovation Council as Director of Wireless Internet Development. Blanchard has also served the U.S. DHS as a Business Liaison Director for the Telecommunications and Technology Industry within the Office of the Private Sector.

Shatzkamer joins Google Cloud
Telecommunications industry veteran Kevin Shatzkamer announced in a LinkedIn post that he has joined Google Cloud as Digital Transformation Officer for Telecommunications.
Shatzkamer comes to Google Cloud from Dell where is was VP / GM of Service Provider Solutions. He has also served as Distinguished Engineer and CTO Mobile Networking at Brocade and Distinguished Engineer for Cloud, Digital Media, and Mobility at Cisco. Shatzkamer is a member of the WEF Global Futures Council on New Network Technologies. He has a Masters of Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Indiana University.
