Finalists for 2022 Edge Woman of the Year Award announced by Edge Computing World, State of the Edge
State of the Edge, a free edge computing research open source project, and Edge Computing World, an edge ecosystem event, are pleased to announce the top ten finalists for the Fourth Annual Edge Woman of the Year Award 2022.
This year’s finalists are as follows:

- Elaine Liew, Head of Hybrid and Edge Computing at Amazon Web Services
- Azita Martin, VP & GM Artificial Intelligence for Retail and CPG at NVIDIA
- Giulia Merlo, Edge Computing Senior Portfolio Manager at Vodafone
- Kaniz Mahdi, SVP Technology Architecture & Innovation at Deutsche Telekom
- Inna Ushakova, CEO and President at AI EdgeLabs
- Kuan Collins, SAIC Innovation Factory Hub – Huntsville Director at SAIC
- Nitu Kaushal, Managing Director, Intelligent Edge, Europe Region at Accenture
- Meryem Simsek, Chief Scientist, Advanced Technologies at VMware
- Tilly Gilbert, Principal Consultant and Edge Practice Lead at STL Partners
The award recognizes excellence in leadership and innovation in edge computing. The nominees are all women who have significantly contributed to advancing this cutting-edge technology. The Edge Woman of the Year will be announced at the Edge Computing World Awards Evening on October 10th, held in person at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley.

- Nancy Shemwell, COO at Rural Cloud Initiative (and Edge Woman of the Year 2021)
The evening will feature an Edge Startup of the Year announcement and many new categories to honor the leaders of the edge platform industry.
