DartPoints integrates managed MDR services securing edge infrastructure
Dartpoints, an edge digital infrastructure provider, has integrated several security technologies to offer a comprehensive and multi-layered security solution. The company’s new product includes enhanced managed detection and response, security orchestration, endpoint detection and response (EDR), automation and response (SOAR) and extended detection and response (XDR).
Packaged as a complete security tool, DartPoints’ managed detection and response can detect threats across the network, cloud, endpoints and SaaS applications. DartPoints’ MDR (Managed Detection and Response) aims to address the drawbacks of current antivirus and security solutions by offering advanced threat detection, threat hunting and 24×7 monitoring and investigation, the company says.
The new security solution protects industries with highly confidential data, including finance, government, manufacturing, education and healthcare. The managed detection and response also comply with the industry standards and company framework to provide comprehensive security insurance for infrastructure.
“Executives and security leaders know they need a multi-layered cybersecurity strategy that combines MDR, EDR, SOAR, and XDR solutions, but increasingly, they don’t have the in-house resources to make that happen,” said Brad Alexander, CTO for DartPoints.
According to the Accenture report, “State of Cybersecurity Resilience 2021,” firms have seen a significant budget increase in security investments with IT companies. Also, many companies have experienced over 270 cyberattacks in 2021, which is a jump of 31 percent compared to the previous year.
DartPoints’ MDR helps reduce false positives, a problem in legacy antivirus software. It also provides a secure solution for a high volume of data.
“With the hundreds of tools and providers on the market, analysis paralysis sets in. We are proud to help our clients by bringing these best-in-class security vendors and technologies together into one comprehensive, airtight solution,” Alexander concluded.
