Cloneable launches new AI platform to make contextual decisions at the edge
Cloneable, an AI platform provider to optimize business processes, has secured $750,000 in pre-seed funding from First In. The company has introduced an AI-driven platform that allows edge devices to make contextual decisions by combining advanced technology and company specific knowledge.
Cloneable aims to enhance the intelligence and capabilities of edge devices, in order to eliminate the need for data transfer and post processing, which in-turn reduces delays and congestion.
According to Cloneable, the platform leverages technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision for edge devices, especially drones, to execute customized applications. The company is actively collaborating with Fortune 500 organizations to develop applications for a range of industries, including infrastructure inspection and crop modeling.
The CEO of Cloneable, Patrick Lohman, emphasized the importance of bringing intelligence to devices in the field.
“Machines typically lack context when collecting data, but Cloneable’s platform addresses this issue by making it easy to combine advanced technology with a company’s specific knowledge or logic,” he says.
Cloneable AI platform uses a modular and open architecture, offering a library of more than 40 pre-built modules that cater to various tasks, such as computer vision, natural language processing, and augmented reality. In addition to these pre-built modules, companies can create their own custom components to align with the requirements, providing a tailored solution.
“Our platform removes the complexity and costliness of app development like integrating AI, stitching together systems and configuring business rules. In turn, business owners can focus their resources on innovation and not integration,” adds Tyler Collins, Cloneable CTO.
According to Gartner, by the year 2025, 75 percent of the enterprise data will be generated and processed at the edge. Cloneable is positioning itself to capitalize on this market trend, enabling organizations to directly implement their customized edge models on the field-deployed devices.
