Blaize gains Nasdaq listing as edge AI pioneer goes public

Blaize, an AI computing provider utilizing edge computing solutions, is set to begin trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbols “BZAI” and “BZAI.W” on January 14, 2025.

The trading follows the anticipated completion of a business combination with BurTech Acquisition Corp. on January 12, 2025. Blaize specializes in AI-enabled edge computing solutions and aims to lead in bringing AI technology to various sectors.

“We’re thrilled with approval to list from Nasdaq and the prospects of a long-standing partnership with its marketplace of investors,” says Dinakar Munagala, CEO of Blaize. “This marks the beginning of a new chapter in Blaize’s journey, one where we continue to lead the way in bringing artificial intelligence to the edge.”

The approval to list on Nasdaq is seen as a significant opportunity for Blaize in the edge AI market.

Blaize has raised over $330 million from notable investors, including DENSO and Mercedes-Benz AG. The company has a global presence with over 200 employees and offices in multiple countries.

BurTech is a special-purpose acquisition company focused on partnering with innovative businesses to enhance their public market success.

Blaize provides a full-stack programmable processor architecture suite and low-code/no-code software platform that enables AI processing solutions for high-performance computing at the network’s edge and in the data center.

Blaize also recently partnered with Vantiq to launch the Blaize AI Orchestration Platform, combining AI-enabled edge computing with intelligent software.
