BATM secures $2.4M Edgility orders as AWS IoT edge integration takes hold

BATM Advanced Communications has received $2.4 million in orders for its Edgility platform from a Tier 1 communications service provider.

Telco Systems’ Edgility solution is a virtualisation and edge computing platform that has become an AWS Qualified Software Partner solution for AWS IoT Greengrass.

The platform enables zero-touch deployment and management of devices hosted on-premise, enhancing security and operational efficiency.

BATM’s CEO, Moti Nagar, emphasized the significance of this endorsement: “This is a great endorsement of our Edgility solution and validation of our commitment to providing customers with the highest possible levels of security, reliability and operational excellence for their large-scale edge-to-cloud deployments. As the only AWS solution that offers edge deployment and management at scale, we are well-placed to expand our business into the vast AWS IoT Greengrass customer base. We look forward to leveraging our partner status to drive Edgility sales growth in the near term and to collaborating with AWS to explore other exciting opportunities in the future.”

The orders will support the customer in virtualizing and managing enterprise connectivity services for businesses.

Edgility has successfully completed a certification process, meeting all required performance and security standards. The agreement includes a minimum three-year license term, with potential for future expansion in licenses as the customer grows.

BATM aims to increase its market share in the rapidly growing edge computing market, driven by concerns over security risks from competing technology providers.
