AmberFlux offers up Opus framework to help manufacturing industries deploy, manage edge AI
AmberFlux has introduced its Opus range of products to help manufacturing industries leverage AI learning and inferencing on the Edge built on Opus framework. AmberFlux Opus framework enables manufacturing and other industries rapidly transition to Industry 4.0.
“Using Opus, manufacturers can leverage their existing designs for enabling them for EdgeAI for sensor data analysis and IoT,” explains Muralidhar Goparaju, CEO of AmberFlux. “Opus’s proprietary deep learning algorithm ensures both learning and inferencing can be done on the Edge Devices powered by low-cost, low-power processors, including most of the existing generation of microcontrollers. Using Opus Framework, we can built lightweight, containerized, microproducts for manufacturing companies to enable a range of products like industrial machinery, tools, commercial and domestic appliances, rolling stock, process machinery, etc., for AI inferencing at the Edge. Opus Dashboard will enable enterprises to manage their edge devices providing critical data and insightful inferences for decision making”
Opus products can be integrated to existing enterprise applications or customer management solutions to enable the manufacturing companies to receive any anomaly data and alerts. This would provide these companies valuable information for predictive maintenance and critical inputs on the usage of machinery for product improvements. Many manufacturing companies have installed pre-programmed microcontrollers with pre-defined commands, but the data is not used for further enhancements or product development. Using Opus, these manufacturing companies will receive critical inputs to plan for their maintenance scheduling and planning.
