Aetina, an edge device manufacturer and AI solutions provider, is collaborating with Qualcomm Technologies to enhance edge AI with new on-premises solutions.
The Aetina MegaEdge AIP-FR68 integrates Qualcomm’s Cloud AI accelerator cards, delivering 870 TOPS of AI computing power with low energy consumption.
This partnership aims to democratize access to enterprise-grade AI capabilities, allowing businesses to run complex AI models locally for improved data privacy.
The collaboration focuses on generative AI applications, enabling rapid development and customization of AI models on standard PC workstations. The Qualcomm AI On-Prem Appliance Solution will be available through global distribution partners starting in Q1 2025.
Aetina recently highlighted its DeviceEdge series, featuring the Aetina In-Vehicle System and SuperEdge AI Inference system, designed for smart city and transportation applications in Barcelona.
