Advantech, Zeblok deliver cloud-to-edge AI; UbiStor partners with Scale Computing for DR solution
To build efficient and secure edge AI applications, Advantech and Zeblok Computational recently collaborated to develop a combined solution using Zeblok’s Ai-Microcloud turnkey AI platform-as-a-service and Advantech Sky-8000 series servers. Along with the partnership, the edge AI solution will deploy on the SmartPoint.io smart kiosk, a high-performance AI inference for smart cities.

According to the companies, the solution provides an AI application store, functionality to optimize AI algorithms, and can produce and deploy AI models. The combined edge AI solution allows enterprises to create an AI ecosystem by deploying multiple inference engines to the edge servers with lower market costs.

UbiStor adds Scale Computing for DR
In related news, UbiStor announced an infrastructure partnership with Scale Computing to leverage a managed backup and disaster recovery solution. UbiStor is known for developing backup and disaster recovery roadmaps for customers in evolving ecosystems.
Integrating Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud and Scale Computing’s Business Resilience System (BRS) appliance enables UbiStore’s customers to use a hybrid cloud data protection service, while simultaneously having the flexibility of local virtualization and recovery.
“The addition of Scale Computing to our Backup and DR-as-a-Service offerings enhances our ability to help customers meet their local restore and recoverability requirements, while still being able to leverage the advanced capabilities of the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud,” said Dan Hill, CEO of UbiStor.
