Aderis Energy launches SunSpector, an edge-based smart weather station
Aderis Energy has announced the launch of its new product, SunSpector, a smart weather station that uses edge computing to help customers optimize renewable energy systems.
The company says it provides a suite of features for renewable energy management systems, with data logging, performance analysis and energy simulation capabilities.
“We’re excited to introduce the SunSpector to the market,” says Colton Ward, the head of business development at Aderis Energy. “Our team has worked diligently to create a weather station that provides unparalleled data collection and analysis capabilities.”
The company says the SunSpector comes in different configurations and can support customized weather sensors.
Aderis Energy also says the SunSpector features an edge computing platform, a close-loop servo-controlled plane of array (POA) tracking capability and an advanced resource surveying tool. It allows data logging and analytics with energy loss calculation capabilities and can confirm weather modeling estimates, according to the company.
“With SunSpector, our customers can optimize their renewable energy systems and increase their return on investment,” adds Ward.
